Glen Holbrook -KPW Head Trainer

Glen Holbrook, born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, learnt professional wrestling through the infamous Jerry Oates under the teachings of the legendary professional wrestler Dick Steinborn. Other notable professional wrestlers that Glen has trained under include Randy Rhodes (member of the Midnight Express), Ken Timbs (member of the Fabulous Blondes), and the olympic champion Yoshiaki Yatsu.
He has wrestled with many notable wrestlers throughout his time including Yokozuna, Jake the Snake Roberts, Ted DiBiase, Cactus Jack, The Great Kabuki and many more.
He started his professional wrestling career in 1984 in the “Mid-South” wrestling promotion which was called UWF and was owned by Bill Watts. He later moved on to wrestle in the NWA and toured all over the United States of America. He was a tag team specialist during this time and wrestled in several tag teams such as the Shoguns, New Edition and Coastal Connection.
Later in the 1990s, Glen moved the Japan to wrestle in several professional wrestling promotions such as SPWF, IWA, Big Japan, Tokyo Pro, and others. He continued a strong career as a fan favorite in Japan till 2005.
After his time in Japan, Glen went on to train in several wrestling schools around the world till 2020 where he landed in Bahrain and took on our Bahraini talent at KPW till today.

A Word From the Founder

I believe that with the right team and the right environment in Bahrain we can create an award-winning Bahraini enterprise with a culture that keeps our people engaged and joyful. Although there were no guarantees that my dream would come true, I had faith that it would spark a movement in the Kingdom. I also realized that achieving the KPW vision would be a journey that would never end, because Kingdom Pro Wrestling is alive and will continue to grow.

From a wrestling ring in a farm’s warehouse, to an enterprise that has the fastest growing local talent wrestling base in the Middle East is something I take pride in. When it comes to defining “KPW”, you have to look beyond our product and focus on the Bahraini & GCC people. Being the founder of Kingdom Pro Wrestling has allowed me to have a unique opportunity; an opportunity of making all KPW wrestlers, crew and fans happy and live better lives financially, psychologically and socially… that’s right! KPW is all about the people.

We are excited about what the future holds for KPW and I am confident that we will continue to grow, always keeping an eye on the people’s best interest.

God bless The Kingdom of Bahrain!
